DelDOT schedules overnight lane and shoulder closures in Lewes for utility work.
LEWES, Del. - The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced scheduled shoulder and lane closures on several roads in the Lewes area due to utility work.
The closures will affect Savannah Road, Old Orchard Road, Wescoats Road, Marsh Road and Clay Road, and are planned to take place from 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 28.
The work involves Comcast fiber splicing. DelDOT advises drivers to use caution, and expect delays in the affected areas.
