Fenwick Island preps for summer fun with bonfire and movie nights

Summer is nearly here, and Fenwick Island officials are finalizing plans for a season filled with community favorites. During a Beach Committee meeting set for Friday, May 9, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., town leaders are set to review upcoming events, including the return of the annual Bonfire Event, scheduled for July 5.

FENWICK ISLAND, Del. – Summer is nearly here, and Fenwick Island officials are finalizing plans for a season filled with community favorites.

During a Beach Committee meeting set for Friday, May 9, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., town leaders are set to review upcoming events, including the return of the annual Bonfire Event, scheduled for July 5. The popular gathering invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy an evening of beachside relaxation and celebration.

The town’s Movie Nights will also continue this year, with a lineup of family-friendly favorites scheduled throughout the summer:

  • June 20 – Monsters, Inc.

  • July 18 – Moana 2

  • August 15 – Up
