DEWEY BEACH, Del. - Fire marshals have determined electrical damage is to blame for a Wednesday afternoon fire in Dewey Beach.
The fire in Carolina Street broke out around 2:30 p.m. According to the Delaware State Fire Marshal, the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company arrived on the scene and found smoke and flames coming from the home.
The Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze caused $400,000 in damage.
The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company says there were no reported injuries.
