DELAWARE- Wally Caulk, a longtime farmer, former Delaware state representative and advocate for the state’s agricultural community, died Tuesday at age 85.

According to the Delaware State House of Representatives Republican Caucus, Caulk represented central Kent County’s 33rd District in the Delaware House from 1984 through 2006, completing a 22-year career in the General Assembly.

During his time in the House, Caulk served on several committees, including Agriculture; Health & Human Development; Transportation, Land Use, & Infrastructure; and Natural Resources & Environmental Management.

State leaders say he was also a former administrator of the Delaware Farm Bureau and participated in several community organizations.

A House of Representatives memoriam honoring Caulk described him as a successful farmer and businessman who was known for his integrity and devotion to his family.

“Mr. Caulk will be fondly remembered for living his life with integrity and for his great devotion to his family,” the memoriam states.

It also highlighted his commitment to agriculture and public service, as well as the importance he placed on his family and friends.

Caulk was born Feb. 7, 1941, and died Aug. 18, 2026.

He is remembered as a husband, brother, stepson, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
