GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Delaware Department of Transportation announced that work will begin Monday, May 12, to modify the intersection of Prettyman Road and Pettyjohn Road in Georgetown.
The project will convert the current two-way stop into an all-way stop, adding new signage and pavement markings.
Construction is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. During this time, flaggers will be on site to help with traffic flow and ensure the safety of both workers and drivers.
DelDOT is urging drivers to use caution and reduce speed when traveling through the work zone.
