GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Hispanic community in Georgetown celebrated Posada Navideña on Saturday with a festive gathering featuring toys, food, a bounce house, and a visit from Santa Claus.

The event, which has become a beloved tradition for the past decade, consistently draws between 600 and 700 attendees, and this year was no exception.

Michelle Rodríguez, co-owner of El Mercado Market with her husband, is one of the dedicated individuals who have worked tirelessly to ensure Posada Navideña's success each year.

"It feels really nice to be able to give back to our community, our clientele, our customers, and all the children. It's a big blessing," Rodríguez said.

As this year's celebration concludes, Posada Navideña organizers are already looking forward to continuing the cherished tradition in the years to come.
