MILTON, Del. — Hundreds of people attended the Milton Theatre and Sussex Pride's Pride Fest 2025, a community-focused event in Milton designed to uplift love, diversity, and unity.
The festival, now an annual tradition in Sussex County, featured a vibrant mix of live performances, vendors, and local food trucks—creating an inviting space for people of all backgrounds to come together in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

People from across Delmarva attended Milton Theatre's Pride Fest.
"We just want to make sure that all our LGBTQ+ friends know we are there to support them and know that allies are there as well," explained Milton Theatre Director of Development Jacey Brittingham. "We want everyone that comes into the theatre to know that they are loved, they are accepted, and this is a place where you can just be yourself and there's no pretense with it."
Among the standout performers this year was the soulful duo Mama’s Black Sheep, as well as Magnolia Applebottom, a beloved drag queen and cabaret performer.
This year's Pride Fest adopted a “Pay What You Can” model, welcoming donations both online and at the gate. Organizers emphasized that no contribution is too small and that every dollar helps sustain the mission of building a more inclusive and accepting local community.

The Milton Theatre and Sussex Pride teamed up once again for a colorful and inspiring celebration of inclusion with Pride Fest 2025.
“Together, we create a space where everyone belongs,” organizers wrote. “Let’s celebrate, uplift, and shine bright!”
Pride Fest took place entirely on Milton Theatre grounds.
