The Delaware Department of Transportation said that the work zone will stretch between Sandalwood Drive and Hebron Road, with daily lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Drivers in the Rehoboth beach area should prepare for lane closures along Holland Glade Road beginning Monday, June 16 as crews work to install new curbs, sidewalks and pedestrian connections.

The Delaware Department of Transportation said that the work zone will stretch between Sandalwood Drive and Hebron Road, with daily lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

The improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance pedestrian accessibility in the area said DelDOT. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and reduce their speed when traveling through the work zone. 

DelDOT expects work on the roadway to continue through Wednesday, July 16.
