ELLENDALE, Del – The railroad crossing on East Robbins Road is set to receive railroad signal upgrades and general maintenance in May.
According to DelDOT, the railroad crossing on East Robbins Road will be closed starting 5 a.m. on Monday, May 12. Officials say the maintenance work will require the full closure of the road.
For detours, eastbound traffic will be directed from West Robbins Road and East Robbins Road onto U.S. 113, then to East Redden Road, Pine Road and Saw Mill Road, before returning to East Robbins Road. Westbound traffic will be directed from Saw Mill Road to Pine Road, then to East Redden Road, U.S. 113, South Old State Street, and back to East Robbins Road.
DelDOT says the work is expected to be completed no later than 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 15.
