FREDERICA, Del. - A Milford man was arrested for reckless endangering and DUI following a hit-and-run crash on April 16, according to Delaware State Police.
(DSP) 26-year-old Damian Lee of Milford was charged with:
- Reckless Endangering 1st Degree
- Driving Under the Influence
- Driving with a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License
- Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident
- Multiple Traffic Violations
Around 6:07 p.m., troopers responded to Buffalo Road for a report of a silver minivan that hit a fence and left the scene. While responding, troopers saw a silver Mazda with front-end damage traveling north on South Dupont Highway near West Lebanon Road.
The damage and description matched the earlier report, and troopers pulled over the driver, identified as 26-year-old Damian Lee.
Troopers observed signs of impairment and took Lee into custody without incident. During the investigation, police learned Lee had hit a fence and driven through the front yards of two homes, nearly hitting two children. No injuries were reported.
Lee was taken to Troop 3, where he was given field sobriety tests. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on a $10,800 unsecured bond.
