MILLSBORO, Del. - Harry Hudson, a 56-year-old Millsboro man, is facing felony gun charges after Delaware State Police said he threatened a group of people at a neighborhood gathering Saturday night.
Police said they were called to Gravel Hill Road around 11:25 p.m. on March 22 for reports of disorderly conduct and gunfire. Investigators say Hudson showed up uninvited to a nearby party and began acting aggressively toward several people at the party.

After being asked to leave by the homeowner, Hudson allegedly returned with a large dog and made threatening statements. He eventually left again, but police said he was seen holding a concealed handgun as he walked away.
Minutes later, people at the party reported hearing what sounded like gunshots coming from Hudson’s property, followed by Hudson shouting threats. Troopers arrived at Hudson’s driveway and found him yelling profanities. Hudson was arrested without incident and a loaded gun was found on the ground nearby, DSP said.
A background check revealed that Hudson is a convicted felon and is not allowed to have guns or ammunition. Hudson was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the following:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
- Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
- Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence
- Disorderly Conduct
He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on a $21,050 unsecured bond.
