LONG NECK, Del. - A crash Monday night on Route 24 at the intersection of Route 5 required crews to rescue at least one person trapped in an SUV while a car caught on fire.
According to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, the crash occurred at approximately 10 p.m. The collision involved a Hyundai Sonata and KIA Sportage SUV.
Three people were taken to a nearby medical facility. Emergency crews included those from the Millsboro Fire Company. Delaware State Police are now gathering more information about the crash.
