A new traffic signal is in place at the intersection of Route 113 and the Avenue of Honor between Millsboro and Georgetown.
GEORGETOWN, Del. - Drivers on Route 113 will see a new traffic signal at the intersection with Avenue of Honor. The Delaware Department of Transportation said that the signal will flash for 72 hours and will then be put on a normal green, yellow, and red cycle.
The light's installation began in late January. DelDOT has previously said that the goal of the light is to make the intersection safer following population growth and expansion of the nearby Sussex Central High School.
