OCEAN CITY, Md.— The Town of Ocean City is making it easier than ever for people to dispose of their Christmas trees responsibly. A free Christmas tree drop-off site has been set up at the 100th Street Municipal Lot, providing a convenient and eco-friendly way to bid farewell to your holiday tree.
The designated drop-off area is situated in the northeast corner of the 100th Street Municipal Lot. Residents are encouraged to utilize this service until January 15th, allowing ample time to safely remove their trees from their homes after the holiday season.
To ensure a smooth and efficient recycling process, officials kindly request that all residents remove any tinsel, ornaments, and other non-wooden items from their trees prior to drop-off. This important step helps maintain the quality of the recycling process and prevents any contamination that might occur if non-wooden materials are left on the trees.
