Ocean City Police are investigating a July 5 shooting at 28th Street and Philadelphia Avenue. An 18-year-old male was injured and is uncooperative. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.

OCEAN CITY, Md. - The Ocean City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning near the intersection of 28th Street and Philadelphia Avenue.

Officers responded to the area at approximately 12:46 a.m. on July 5 after hearing gunshots. Upon arrival, they located an 18-year-old man from Cambridge, Maryland, suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm.

Ocean City EMS personnel provided treatment at the scene, and the victim was transported to TidalHealth with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Police say the victim has been uncooperative with the investigation. The department’s Criminal Investigation Division and Major Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate.
