OCEAN CITY, Md.- The Ocean City Police Department introduces a new member to their Mounted Unit, Buckshot. This horse is the brother of Storm, a member of the unit already.Â
Police say they grew up together at DGS Shire farm. Buckshot was trained by Jerald Sams and Cynthia Sparks from Manor, Texas. On Tuesday, Buckshot was introduced to downtown Ocean City and the beach to get a feel for his new patrol, say police.
