Rehoboth Beach begins level 2 assessment of Grove Park trees as area remains closed, farmers' market relocated

Grove Park in Rehoboth Beach has been a fixture in the city for more than 100 years. Now, concerns over the health and safety of its trees have temporarily closed the park and forced the weekly farmers' market to find a new home.

Rehoboth Beach officials are moving forward with a Level 2 assessment of Grove Park's trees after five were deemed hazardous, as the farmers' market temporarily relocates while the city determines what comes next.
