SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury is introducing the Sound Bites Tour this summer, a series of live music events held at various restaurants and breweries throughout the city. The tour supports the Maryland Folk Festival, with a portion of proceeds from each event benefiting the festival.
Each performance is a one-night event featuring local musicians at different venues. City officials say the effort is intended to support local businesses and artists while contributing to the festival.
“Looking forward to the idea of changing venues, and to seeing added support for our great restaurants and retailers as an added benefit of each event taking us to different places,” said Mayor Randy Taylor.
