SELBYILLE, Del. - The Selbyville Police Department says they are looking for a man accused theft and assault in a Dollar General.
According to police, the search came as a result of a late-report of a crime that took place on Monday, shortly before 6 p.m.
Police say the man entered the W Church Street store and hid merchandise under his clothing. When staff approached the man, police say they ordered him to leave. According to police, this led to the man walking behind the counter and assaulting a store clerk, knocking them out.
