LEWES, Del. — Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is celebrating the success of its recent sold-out golf outing, which raised $27,000 to support affordable housing construction and repairs across the region.

The event brought together a full field of golfers for a day of fun, fundraising and community connection. Organizers credited the generosity of participants, sponsors and prize donors for making the day possible.

"Events like these make it possible for Sussex County Habitat to continue building homes, hope, and opportunities for local families. The organization is truly grateful for the community's ongoing support." said Sussex County Habitat for Humanity.

Prizes were donated by Bayside Resort Golf Club, Bear Trap Dunes, The Rookery, Southern Delaware Golf Course, American Classic Golf, The Salt Pond Executive Course and Baywood Greens.
