MILTON, Del.- - Sydney's, a cherished restaurant and lounge located in the heart of the Paynter's Mill development in Milton, has announced its closure, leaving patrons with a mix of fond memories and sadness.

Known for its myriad live music performances and community support, Sydney's has been a beloved fixture for many in the Cape region. In a post on Facebook, the restaurant announced its last day open would be December 31, 2023. This New Year's Eve, they invited patrons old and new to join them in a bittersweet celebration as they bid farewell to this chapter of their culinary journey.

In a heartfelt message to its patrons, Sydney's expressed gratitude for the support and patronage it has received over the years. The restaurant management acknowledged the importance of the community in their journey.

Sydney's did not publicly share why it decided to close.
