Temporary water outage planned for Assateague Point

ASSATEAGUE, Md. - Worcester County Public Works will temporarily shut off water service in the Assateague Point Service Area on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to install two isolation valves.

The outage is expected to affect about 523 homes for approximately six to nine hours in surrounding neighborhoods. If weather delays occur, the work will be rescheduled for Jan. 14.
