OCEAN CITY, Md. - The Ocean City Police Department has identified a pedestrian who was struck by a car and ran off early Monday morning on Coastal Highway.

According to police, the crash happened around 12:24 a.m. on June 2 near Arctic Avenue. Investigators say the person in question got off a city bus and ran into the roadway, where they were hit by a car. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.

However, the pedestrian left the area before police could identify or speak with them. Authorities have now released a photo of the person and asking for help from anyone who may know who they are or have information about the crash.
