GEORGETOWN, Del. - The 2026 Wings & Wheels Festival will return to Georgetown the first weekend of October, celebrating Delaware’s 250th anniversary with a focus on military service, sacrifice and freedom.

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Wings & Wheels Planning Committee will host the event Oct. 2-4 at the Delaware Coastal Airport.

The weekend will include military and World War II aircraft, a car show, the U.S. Naval Academy Parachute Team, food and craft vendors, live music and activities for children.

According to the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, the event will begin Oct. 2 with a Pathways to Aviation program for middle and high school students, followed by a catered dinner and performance by the 287th Army Band.

The festival is free to attend, says the chamber, and parking will be available at Family Court on East Pine and Race streets and Sussex Academy, with transportation provided to the airport. The chamber says a $5 transportation fee will apply for vehicles using the Family Court parking area.
