The Planning Commission voted unanimously to continue the Belhaven Hotel hearing on July 25, citing that documents were submitted too late for the public and commissioners to properly review.
Plans for the Belhaven Hotel, a proposed four-story hotel in Rehoboth Beach, are moving to a public hearing after a 5-3 vote by the Planning Commission. A public hearing is scheduled for June 26.
Plans for a new hotel, The Belhaven, above Candy Kitchen on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk are moving ahead. The city’s Board of Adjustment recently approved a change, allowing the hotel to have offsite parking on Baltimore Avenue.
The Rehoboth Beach Planning Commission will continue its review of the site plans for the proposed Belhaven Hotel on Monday, September 30th. This new development would be a four-story structure, featuring retail space on the ground floor and an underground parking garage.
