Gov. Matt Meyer signed two bipartisan bills aimed at making summer camps and childcare more accessible to Delaware families who receive assistance through the state's Purchase of Care program on Monday, Aug. 18.

Bayhealth is expanding its services across central and southern Delaware with the launch of The Next Wave. The multi-year initiative means new equipment and facilities.

Bayhealth workers raised over $8,000 for the Childcare Center at the Sussex Campus and Team Member Assistance Fund. Care Management associate, Precious Brown, was crowned Home Team Court MVP for raising $3,323. 

Three Delaware bills introduced on Wednesday aim to reassure families about the safety standards of childcare services and improve state oversight.
