Milford native Rony Baltazar López has been named the inaugural director of Delaware's Office of New Americans, announced recently by Gov. Matt Meyer to support the immigrant community.

Sussex County has named Andrew D. Harton as its new Economic Development Director, taking over for Bill Pfaff, who is retiring after leading the office for years.

"We've been fortunate to screen 'Daisies' at several other film festivals across the country, but showcasing at the Ocean City Film Festival is special. It's a homecoming," said Jordyn Gum, the film's associate producer. 

Gov. John Carney plans to nominate Cynthia Karnai to serve as director of the Delaware State Housing Authority, according to an announcement Tuesday. Karnai would replace Eugene Young, who will step down from this position next month.
