Do More 24 Delaware, a 24-hour fundraising event designed to help nonprofits raise money and connect with new donors, runs from Thursday at 6 p.m. to Friday at 6 p.m.

"The grassroots nature of this day allows everyone to be a philanthropist at a level that suits their budget," said Dan Cruce, chief operating officer of United Way of Delaware.

The event is scheduled for the weekend of June 10 and 11. The air show also performs in cities in Georgia and Florida throughout the year.

Another home on the Thompson Farm, the birthplace of American abolitionist Harriet Tubman, has been discovered by archaeologists. This follows an announcement from April 2021 on the discovery of the home of Ben Ross, Tubman's father.

The Division of Parks and Recreation says that attendance has increased each year sine 2015, setting new records each time. The most visited state park was Sussex County's Cape Henlopen, with just shy of two million visitors and accounting for almost 25% of all park visits.

The Lone Star Rodeo will take place starting Friday, Jan. 20 and run through Saturday. No Limits Monster Trucks & Thrill Show will take over the arena the following weekend.
