The Delmarva peninsula continues to see decent weather, with near normal temperatures this afternoon with increasing humidity levels. Hot and humid weather is expected Friday, with feels like temperatures in the triple digits.
A Heat Advisory continues for Sussex County and all of the Delaware coast for today through Wednesday morning. In addition for Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties in Maryland. Heat Indices expected to rise as highs as 110 over the next three days. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for most of the eastern shore of Maryland through Wednesday.
The first full day of summer is a hot one for Delmarva, and it gets even hotter this weekend, with excessive heat possible.
