Bethany Beach officials announced a special election will take place Saturday, May 24, to ask voters whether the town should borrow up to $3.98 million to build a new water clarifier. According to town officials, the vote will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town Meeting Room, 214 Garfield Parkway.
