On Tuesday, January 8th at the Rehoboth Beach Mayors and Commissioners Workshop Meeting, city officials discussed a possible Community Benefits Agreement, from offshore wind developer U.S. Wind.
While pedestrian safety is important anytime of year, it is especially important during the busy summer months when lots of people visit the beach. On Tuesday, January 9th, at the Mayors and Commissioners Special Meeting, Rehoboth Beach officials will review some safety recommendations made by the Rossi Group after analyzing the recent traffic survey.
Next week city officials in Rehoboth Beach will discuss the possibility of combining the weekday and weekend parking permits into one. This idea was proposed by the Rehoboth Beach Parking Department.
At the November sixth Mayors and Commissioners workshop, Commissioner Toni Sharp proposed the five committees be combined into one general committee, made up of members from each neighborhood in the city. The city of Rehoboth Beach currently has five advisory committees, which include, the animal issues committee, boardwalk and beach committee, environment committee, streets and transportations committee, and the trees and green infrastructure committee.
