In Milton near the Route 16 overpass, the Ocean One mixed-use development is expanding, with plans calling for up to 500 residential units and a more than 500,000-square-foot shopping center. The project remains in early stages, and some residents have raised concerns about whether local infrastructure can support the scale of development.

A proposed residential development in Milton, known as River’s Edge, has been deferred for a third time as residents and officials debate its impact on local infrastructure.

The proposal is now headed to the Milton Town Council for review.
