Northside Park in Ocean City could soon see a series of upgrades aimed at improving amenities and accessibility for visitors, the town’s Recreation and Parks Committee said.

Milford City Council has voted to move forward with the long-debated Deep Branch Park proposal off South Rehoboth Boulevard.

Laughter and cheers filled the air this week as children flocked to the newly opened playground at Canalfront Park, a long-awaited addition following the closure of the previous play area last October.

A 19-acre plot of land in Milford on S. Rehoboth Blvd could soon be transformed into Deep Branch Park, a community space featuring a half-mile walking and bike path, a multi-age playground, basketball and pickleball courts. 

The Worcester County Commissioners invite the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new playground and scoreboard at the Northern Worcester Athletic Complex in Berlin.

The Lewes Parks and Recreation Commission endorsed Kompan for the Canalfront Park playground replacement project, citing safety concerns with the current playground and highlighting Kompan's $399,785 bid, supported by a $125,000 grant, with further funding potential discussed for the project.

A new playground coming to Harrington was made possible by a combined effort between the Mayor and City Council, along with several grants. The project marks the completion of what the city calls Phase One of its outside recreation facility.
