Two Dover men have been convicted for their roles in a deadly shooting on the campus of Delaware State University that killed a prospective student in April 2024.
Felix Rounds Jr., 38, was convicted of first-degree malicious burning, reckless endangerment and first-degree arson. The charges stem from three separate structure fires reported between Nov. 21, 2023, and March 29, 2024.
Darnell Jenkins, a 36-year-old man from Salisbury, has been sentenced to life in prison plus 65 years. Jenkins was convicted in August on two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Rape in the Second Degree, two counts of Attempted Rape in the Second Degree, and three counts of Sexual Offense in the Third Degree.
