Students at Sussex Academy’s middle school performed Madagascar Jr. in a production directed by two high school seniors.

The Milton Theatre has launched a 30-day campaign to raise $150,000 to purchase the Quayside property at a reduced price and preserve it as a community gathering space.

The Worcester County Arts Council awarded $10,000 in scholarships to six local students pursuing degrees in the arts.

Milton Theatre officials say many resellers employ deceptive tactics and often use paid advertisements on search engines to position themselves as the primary ticket source.

"We have been working so hard," shared student and theatre member Ella Godbout. "It was nice to get that acknowledgement from the governor."
