People throughout the town of Milton had reported experiencing little to no water pressure Friday morning. However, the issue was resolved by about 11:20 a.m.
During this time, property owners may experience low water pressure or discolored water for up to 24 hours.
The Water Department will conduct hydrant flow tests on July 10, 2024, at several locations in Lewes, potentially causing low water pressure or discolored water, with residents advised to run cold water and avoid laundry during this time.
To manage the situation and prevent potential water shortages, city officials are requesting that homeowners adhere to a new irrigation schedule.
The town of Smyrna has announced that hydrant flushing and flow testing is scheduled during the week of Monday, Oct. 16.
