Beebe Healthcare has announced its annual nursing scholarship recipients, awarding scholarships to students at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing. (Beebe Healthcare) 

DELAWARE - Beebe Healthcare has awarded annual scholarships to students at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing, recognizing academic and clinical achievement while providing financial assistance, according to the health system.

The scholarships are supported by local donors, organizations and community members. This year’s recipients include students from across Sussex and Kent counties.

  • The $1,000 Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing Scholarship went to Morgan Taylor of Townsend.
  • The Medical Staff Nursing Scholar’s Program awarded scholarships to Jamesia Alphonse of Seaford, Destiny Romano of Dover and MaKenna Miska of Magnolia.
  • The Mildred Gray/VIA Scholarships went to Riley Osborne of Seaford and Mya Dellinger of Milton.
  • The Louise Jarmon Hopkinson Scholarships were awarded to senior Noelle Benson of Lewes and first-year student Madison Nichols of Milton.
  • The Irene P. Sorbara Charitable Foundation Scholarships went to Yana Quel of Rehoboth Beach, Lily Joyce of Milton, Rachel Mordes of Seaford, Hannah Navarro of Lewes, Paige Psaroudakis of Frankford and Phylicia Reed of Millsboro.

Other scholarship recipients included Mya Dellinger, who received the Edna W. Wyatt Scholarship; Olivia Creamer of Greenwood, who received the Dr. Mansour Saberi Scholarship; Chloe Klaus of Camden and Ayanna Williams of Smyrna, who received the Dr. Carl G. Pierce Jr. Scholarships; and Katelyn Milligan of Harrington, who received the Data Guard/Pioneer Nursing Scholarship.

Beebe said the awards are intended to support nursing students as they complete their education and prepare to enter the health care workforce.
