BETHANY BEACH, Del. - The Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival will return Sept. 12, bringing more than 100 juried artists to the Bethany Beach boardwalk and surrounding streets, according to the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber said the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists will showcase and sell work in mediums including painting, photography, woodwork, metalwork, clay and jewelry.

The festival will begin Sept. 11 with a Meet the Artists reception at Gallery One from 5 to 7 p.m. The free, RSVP-only event will feature the gallery’s 16 artists, wine tastings and food.

Saturday’s festival will include live music, art demonstrations and a silent art auction. According to the chamber, proceeds from the auction will benefit arts programs at local elementary schools.

A ticketed wine tasting also will be held at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, with proceeds supporting local school art programs.
