MILFORD, Del.- A body was found at the scene of a outdoor fire in Milford, Delaware State Police said Wednesday.
Troopers were called to the 3000 block of Big Stone Beach Road shortly after 1 p.m., where they found a man dead. South Bowers Volunteer Fire Company and assisting fire companies were called to the area initially for a large outdoor fire. The body's identity hasn’t been confirmed yet, police said, and preliminary findings do not suggest foul play.
The Delaware Division of Forensic Science will identify the body and determine a cause of death. The case remains an active joint investigation with the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office.
