Broadkill Beach’s new dune has finally taken shape. After months of shifting sands, DNREC says the dune realignment is now complete. A section of the original dune was moved landward and reinforced with fencing and native grasses to help stabilize the shoreline, reduce erosion, and keep more sand in place over time.
