MILLSBORO, Del. - Clothing Our Kids is inviting the community to support its 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 19, at The Peninsula Golf & Country Club.
The nonprofit says the tournament is its largest fundraiser and provides more than 40 percent of its annual clothing budget.
The organization serves students from Head Start through high school in more than 60 schools across Sussex County, along with children affected by emergencies and homelessness.
According to Clothing Our Kids, more than 277,000 clothing items have been distributed to more than 44,000 students since the organization began. Proceeds from the tournament will help continue providing new clothing to children in need.
