The Coast Guard officially retired the platform on April 12. Officials say they are now developing new systems to deliver the information previously available on Homeport.

In the meantime, temporary solutions are being put in place to ensure essential services remain accessible.

The Coast Guard has not announced when a permanent replacement will be available, but says efforts are underway to determine the best long-term approach for each function once provided by Homeport.
