We salute Mallorie Whipps - Mallorie Whipps is a United States Army veteran currently in active reserves and holds the rank of Deputy First Class at the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. Deputy First Class Whipps is a School Resource Officer assigned to Bennett Middle School in Fruitland, Maryland. As a school resource officer Deputy First Class Whipps acts as a mentor while keeping all of the students and staff safe. She is also a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team where she is often the lead negotiator during very tense critical incidents. Deputy First Class Whipps stands out as a US Army veteran, deputy, School Resource Officer, and as a wife and mother. She is always available when needed and is often complimented on her communication skills, work ethic, and demeanor.
