Delaware DMV says to report the scam by going to the Federal Trade Commission's website. (DE DMV)

DELAWARE - Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles posted a safety reminder on Facebook today letting people know that DMV and E-ZPass DE will never contact you by text after people were receiving suspicious texts instructing them to click a link to make a payment and change personal information.

If you get one of those texts, Delaware DMV says to report the scam by going to the Federal Trade Commission's website at ReportFraud.ftc.gov or the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center website.
