Troopers responded to the 30000 block of Pinetown Road at approximately 11:13 a.m. on April 16 for a report of a shooting that had occurred the night before.

LEWES, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that damaged a home and a car Tuesday night in Lewes.

Troopers responded to the 30000 block of Pinetown Road at approximately 11:13 a.m. on April 16 for a report of a shooting that had occurred the night before. DSP investigators say that between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on April 15, an unknown shooter fired a gun, hitting a house and a car parked. No one was hurt in the shooting, and police have not yet identified the person responsible.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing its investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective J. Mitchell at (302) 752-3807.
