REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - 2-year-old Doc from the Delaware Humane Association Rehoboth Beach Adoption Center stopped by WRDE dressed in a red sweater for the holidays. Â
DHA Rehoboth Adoption Center Director Leigh Dempsey says Doc gets along well with other dogs, as well as cats.Â
"He got an A on his cat test," Dempsey says. "A cat actually hissed and swiped at Doc and he walked away."
Dempsey says Doc is very social and full of energy, but he also loves to snuggle.
"He joined us in the Lewes Christmas Parade last week and walked the parade route with everybody and pranced his way down the street," Dempsey says.Â
DHA's online auction, "The 12 Days of DHA" raises money for the pets in the shelter. About 50 different gifts and prized packs are up for grabs, including iPads, weekend getaways and luxury gifts. A lot of the items were donated by local businesses.Â
