One goal of the planning process is to locate areas that need improvement.

DEWEY BEACH, Del.- Dewey Beach is asking people across the community to help guide the town's future by participating in public surveys as work continues on an updated Comprehensive Plan.

Town leaders said the planning process is designed to locate areas that need improvement, determine what should be preserved and establish priorities for future growth and development.

The surveys invite feedback on topics including parking, beaches, transportation, public safety, housing, infrastructure and overall quality of life in Dewey Beach.

According to town leaders, separate surveys are available for different groups. This includes people who live there and residential property owners, business owners and visitors.

According to the town's announcement, every response will help ensure the updated Comprehensive Plan reflects the needs and priorities of the broader community.
