REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The Town of Dewey Beach is partnering with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company for a summer donation drive to support the volunteer emergency responders.
According to the fire company, the campaign runs through Sept. 12, with the Town of Dewey Beach matching donations up to a total of $15,000.
The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company responds to more than 600 emergency calls each year, including structure fires, vehicle crashes, water rescues and brush fires. The company says donations help it continue providing emergency services to residents and visitors.
