SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. - CoastTV News Meteorologists are calling for a First Alert Weather Day on Saturday. Due to the forecast, several events have already been cancelled or postponed.
DNREC's 2023 Becoming an Outdoors Woman Weekend has been cancelled. The agency says this is due to the predicted inclement weather. The annual event was supposed to be held at Delaware Seashore State Park this year from Oct. 13-15.
The Haunted Dreams Festival that was supposed to take place in Schellville Saturday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. has been cancelled. Beachin Bash and Brittingham Farms were set to host the inaugural event. Beachin Bash took to Facebook to express disappointment and to announce that Chef Ben will still be hosted for a much smaller and intimate experience at Above the Dunes in Rehoboth Beach on Friday, Oct. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. Click here for tickets.
The Milton Art Guild's Art Walk was scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. However, the Guild has decided to move the event to the same time next Saturday, Oct. 21. 26 artists will be stationed on 21 porches around town to display their work.
