Smoke from a Monday night chicken house fire. Over five emergency crews responded to the structure.
MILLSBORO, Del. - A farm north of Gumboro is assessing damage after a chicken house fire Monday evening.
The fire was reported just before 6 p.m. on Pear Tree Road, Millsboro where flames and heavy smoke were seen coming from at least two chicken houses.
Officials have not released information about the cause of the fire or whether there were any injuries.
Over five crews remained on scene into the night to ensure the fire was under control.
